Penn students and postdocs face a world beset by climate change and environmental degradation and are the future leaders who will tackle this problem. We must continue to ensure that their training is first-rate and that they feel the agency and hope to create and implement solutions to these crises.

While Penn faculty are already doing world-class work to improve climate outcomes, our scholarship is elevated by further breaking down silos, strengthening connections and community between faculty, students, and staff, recruiting and retaining more leading experts in climate-related fields, and communicating our excellence both within Penn and to the outside world.
