Wharton Impact Presents: A Conversation with Gregg Renfrew

September 14 @ 5:15 pm - 7:45 pm
Categories:

Jon M. Huntsman Hall, 8th Floor

3730 Walnut Street
Philadelphia, PA 19104 United States

Join Wharton Dean Erika James and visionary entrepreneur Gregg Renfrew for a conversation about how building, managing, and evolving purpose-driven brands can power women and change entire industries in the process. Renfrew founded Beautycounter in 2011, helping ignite the clean beauty movement and building a category-defining leader before its $1 billion acquisition by The Carlyle Group. After reacquiring its assets, she launched Counter and will introduce beecee, a beauty brand for the next generation of women, in September 2026. The first 100 attendees will receive a complimentary Counter gift set.

After the event, attendees are welcome to join us for a reception for food, drink, and conversation with guests and fellow attendees.

This event is a part of the Turner Impact Learning Experiences (TILE) program, which provides students across Penn and Wharton with the ability to learn from leading faculty and professionals in the impact and sustainability space. Endowed by Bobby Turner, W’84, and Lauren Turner, W’85, TILEs encompass speaker sessions, career panels, hands-on skill-building workshops, networking events, and more. All currently enrolled students across Penn and Wharton are invited to participate. Valid Penn ID required for entry.
