Amrit Thapa, senior lecturer in the International Education Development Program (IEDP) in Penn’s Graduate School of Education (GSE), spoke at the International Conference on Environment and Climate Action in Aug. 2025.

Penn Climate wants to share your academic achievements related to climate and the environment– Have you published a book, a journal article, or been quoted in the media? Have you presented at an industry conference? Maybe your lab has received a big grant, or won an award. We’d like to share these accolades in the Penn Climate newsletter and on our website.

Submissions for the Penn Climate newsletter received by the 3rd week of the month will be considered for inclusion in the following month’s issue. Submitted items should be items published, presented, or received in the last 12 months.  Send your content to climate@upenn.edu with “newsletter” in the subject line.
