Summer 2026 ISAC Courses Announced
Penn Climate is pleased to announce the Summer 2026 cohort of Integrating Sustainability Across the Curriculum (ISAC) courses. Through the ISAC program, Penn Climate partners with faculty and students across the University to integrate sustainability and climate-related concepts into existing courses, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to address today’s environmental challenges regardless of their field of study.
This summer’s ISAC cohort represents a wide range of disciplines across Penn, highlighting the many ways sustainability can be embedded throughout the curriculum. The selected courses include:

- CPLN 57XX: Issues in Planning and Development in Cities of the Global South — Eugenie Birch
- Climate Communication Capstone — Heather Kostick
- MEAM 2470: Mechanical Engineering Laboratory — Jessica Weakley
By pairing faculty with students to collaboratively integrate sustainability into courses across disciplines, ISAC creates meaningful experiential learning opportunities while expanding access to climate and environmental education for students across the University.
