Join Penn’s PDRI–DevLab on May 19 for the launch of Machine Learning for Environmental Event Detection (MLEED), a new AI‑driven platform that uses global news data to identify environmental shocks and track societal and policy responses across developing countries. The event will feature a live demo of the platform and a discussion with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on applications for policy and decision‑making.
